A House Becomes a Home

Jacob helped assemble the new palm tree, in his new fancy duds.

It was a family affair today.  Scott and Michael put in new locks.

And most importantly, a meal was served.  A house becomes a home.  We look forward to many new memories.

Snappy Dresser

Jacob was in desperate need of some new clothes, pants that were long enough and jeans without holes in the knees.  Jacob not only agreed to go clothes shopping but was enthusiastic about doing so.  He is really into bright colors these days especially green.

New coat, dress shirt and tie for the formal night on the cruise.

Not only did Jacob try on the clothes when he got home but he provided a fashion show.  

And was cooperative with pictures, what more could you ask for?

Jacob received a new "mod" (modification) for his Minecraft video game and he couldn't wait to try it out this morning.  He told me he woke up at 4 AM and I believe him since he fell asleep on his bed at 9 AM, something that never happens in this house.  

Austin's Haircut

Oh, the indignity of it all.  Austin had some matting issues and would no longer let me cut his nails so off to the vet he went.  When he came home I hardly recognized him.  Jacob thinks he's cute and is petting him all the time.  All you dog sitters out there won't have to worry about hair come our vacation.    And the good news, I got my car back!

Mixed Berry Pie

I am still waiting to get my Chevy Volt back, sigh.
