Monday Madness

Our version of Monday Madness included a water balloon fight and fun with the garden hose. It is hard to tell but Jacob is soaking wet. We enjoyed the summer-like weather while it lasted. Jacob picked some purple flowers for me which I always appreciate.

Happy Birthday To Me!

We went to Disneyland for my birthday and had a great time. Disney gives you a button when it is your birthday and all the staff (and strangers too) tell you Happy Birthday. It was great fun and it made me wonder what it would be like to wear it to work. It was our first trip back to Disneyland without a stroller! Jacob did great and lasted until we left dinner at 9PM. We hit the Lego store on the way back to our car and Jacob decided on this pose for a picture.

Cool Jacob goes Biking

We enjoyed the summer -like weather today and went out for a little bike ride. Jacob has been two-wheeling -it for quite some time but we just now got around to documenting it. Jacob was a good sport about taking these pictures as he usually does not like to pose. Jacob's confidence has been so good lately that he and Michael have rode their bikes all the way down to the beach and back!

Easter

I had to work today to catch up on missed work from our vacation. Jacob got to have a Daddy day. Looks like they did a great job dying eggs, very creative.

Passover

We celebrated Passover a little late this year due to our Hawaiian vacation. Thea and Dad were able to come this year and didn't have to fight the weekday traffic. Jacob found the hidden matzah and got a dollar. Hank taught him a new magic trick with the dollar which he was proud to show everyone, several times.

Aloha!

Just back from our wonderful Hawaiian vacation and we all had trouble deciding what we liked best. We did so much thanks to all of Michael's planning. We saw waterfalls, black sand beaches and volcanoes. Jacob said his favorite part was the lava tube. I liked the unexpected animal encounters such as tide pools, donkeys and sea turtles.
