Jacob's Summer Reading Challenge

As promised, Ben and Jerry's ice cream cone for finishing second set of 8 books. I am proud of him for finishing his goal. I hope first grade will be an easy transition for him.

Legoland and Aliso Viejo

We took a nice little vacation in Aliso Viejo and then drove to Carlsbad for a day at Legoland.

We spent everyday in the pool and Jacob showed off his improved swimming skills.

Noah's Ark at the Skirball

Before our vacation, I took Jacob to the Noah's Ark exhibit at the Skirball Cultural Center. Unfortunately Jacob came down with a cold and was not up to par. The tickets were not refundable or transferable so I was stuck. They also had a drop- in- art activity which we went to. It was making dolls or action figures, Jacob made Ben Kenobi the favorite Star Wars character at the moment.

Jacob enjoyed his last week of art camp. He loves going and I love sending him since he does such cool stuff. Our art station is now over flowing with creations.
