Jacob has been reluctant to talk to anyone on the phone these past 6 years but suddenly he has discovered the phone. His love for electronics, he is obsessed with my Palm Pilot, and his first loose tooth have prompted the change. We are working on phone etiquette. His first call to our neighbor started with "can mommy and I come over?" luckily she figured out who it was. Second phone call started with "who is this?" but then he added "this is Jacob" so we are making progress. Jacob kept his grandparents on the phone for an hour so family and friends beware you could be next on the Jacob phone list.

That's funny! What does he talk about for an hour? We just got my mom and sister hooked up to Skype and are feeling very Jetson-esque. But we're learning there's etiquette for that as well.
