Passover
We celebrated Passover a little late this year due to our Hawaiian vacation. Thea and Dad were able to come this year and didn't have to fight the weekday traffic. Jacob found the hidden matzah and got a dollar. Hank taught him a new magic trick with the dollar which he was proud to show everyone, several times.

Aloha!

Just back from our wonderful Hawaiian vacation and we all had trouble deciding what we liked best. We did so much thanks to all of Michael's planning. We saw waterfalls, black sand beaches and volcanoes. Jacob said his favorite part was the lava tube. I liked the unexpected animal encounters such as tide pools, donkeys and sea turtles. You can enjoy all our vacation pictures athttp:\\zwang.photoshop.com. We can't wait to go back.

Kathleen's Baby Shower
Kathleen is one of my mom friends from our playgroup that formed when the kids were about a year old. She is pregnant with a girl and is scheduled for a c-section on April 22nd. I happen to think that April is a great month to be born. Four out of the eight members of our little group were able to attend, the rest were present in spirit. We all enjoyed the great food, good company and kid free time. Good luck Kathleen, we can't wait to meet her.

Dinosaurs
We took a trip to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles to see the new Dinosaur Encounter exhibit. Jacob enjoyed the life-sized juvenile Triceratops puppet and the information that came along with it. Did you know they had a beck for a mouth? Jacob's viewing of Bindi the Jungle Girl on Discovery Kids has paid off. As we wandered through the mammal exhibits Jacob would spout off information he had learned from the TV show. The Discovery Center (ie the dinosaur dig) and the insect zoo also made a big hit. I think we will be going back again some day.

Building
It was a building weekend for Jacob. He built a tower out of dominoes which I thought was very creative. Today he played with PVC pipes and created what he called "the water works" coined from a Magic School Bus episode. The experiment worked and he had lots of fun. Jacob asked if I was going to put these pictures on my "log" and I said yes. So here they are Jacob.
