First Night of Hanukkah

Luckily Jacob is still young enough that new pajamas and slippers makes him happy. I try to give low key presents on school nights but it does not seem to keep Jacob from bouncing off the walls.

Good Deed Winner

Every week at Jacob's school they have a good deed winner and a good citizen winner. Today Jacob was the good deed winner for his class. We are so proud!

Holiday Lights

I think Jacob has established an annual tradition of helping our neighbor out with his Christmas lights. This year Jacob was knocking on the door asking when he could help.

Tree Moving Day

Our maple tree needed to come out to make way for our new patio so today was tree moving day.

Here is its new location. The pipes for the sprinklers needed moving so Jacob helped.

Now we will see if the tree survives the move. Next project is gas lines for the new BBQ.

Happy Thanksgiving

Construction Again

Great idea #492, start construction right before the holidays. Bonus points given for starting during the rainy season. Double points given for having 4-legged furry creature to track the mud in (and 2-legged short creature too). To top it all off, being home from work/school so we can hear all the jack hammers is priceless. "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, every where we go..." Happy holidays.

Trick or Treating

Our neighbors hold a Halloween party before trick or treating. It is very neighborly.

Jacob was the oldest of the group and had positioned himself in the front.

Nice pumpkins.

Hi neighbor.

Eye anyone?

Counting his loot and not one Recess Peanut Butter Cup for mom. Oh well maybe next year.
