With Jacob back to school and a slow work week I taped into my inner Betty Crocker. I made a to-die-for turkey pot pie featured in the LA Times food section last year. I am happy to say that it turned out perfect and was well worth the hour and a half food prep time. I will definitely make this again next year. The LA Times link has a slick picture of the pot pie by professional photograhers but I like my rustic version. Good Eats!

Looks delicious! But do you know the damage Jack could do in the hour plus prep time? Ha! I remember that tuna casserole you made in your one college classes...I think it was a meal under $5-you're a great cook, always have been!
